Gill and Brian, co-founders of Dance Parties Plus and Singles Scene, have been organising a wide variety of events for over 30s for more than 25 years, so they really know their stuff! You'll generally find one or other of them (and sometimes both) at every event you attend, and there's no doubt that their "hands on" approach is the main reason for the Club's friendly reputation and continuing success.
From their own experience, they realise just how much courage it can take to make that first visit, and they know that first impressions count. That's why both they and their lady organisers will make sure you always receive a warm and friendly welcome, and if you feel you'd like to be introduced to other members, just ask when you arrive.
Unlike similar organisations, Dance Parties Plus is run on a professional full-time basis and their Ascot office is generally open Monday to Friday from 9.30am till 5.30pm (telephone numbers 01344 292370 and 292371 or mobile 07913 400444). Outside of those hours, or if the office has to be closed for a short time, a voicemail message will give you the latest up to date information about the current week's events. (It's always a good idea to ring and double-check before setting out for an event because very occasionally there may be a last-minute change.)
Our events are held in the Surrey, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Buckingham and Oxfordshire areas. They are held regularly EVERY Friday night; special themed Saturday party nights along with the occassional tribute act. We also hold monthly speed dating evenings and annual mind, body and soul events.
