HAWOG is one of the oldest outdoor groups in the country with a history dating back to 1936. We have over 100 members and similar numbers of girls and guys. All ages welcome, most members 30s to 40s. We are a local group - 80% of our members live within 5 miles of Harrow and Wembley. Everyone new can try us FREE for 2 months no obligation.
HAWOG offers a range of outdoor activities organised by members for members. We offer a local walk most weekends and a weekend away most months. Our walks vary in pace, distance and terrain to suit the varied abilities, interests and aspirations of our members. As one of the original YHA groups, our weekends away take us to the best destinations for outdoor activities, countryside views, wildlife and quaint villages. Each year we offer a number of week long trips to further destinations. Whilst walking is our group's most popular and frequent activity, members also engage in cycling, mountain biking, rock climbing and caving, to mention but a few others.
