Adding an Activity to Activity Exchange is easy. You will need to have Organiser access to Activity Exchange. You can get this either by having an Organiser or better AccessCode or by having your Logon Access set to Organiser or better. Just follow these simple steps...
Some Clubs do not allow their members to add activities directly. In this case you may find that your club has enabled the Submit Activity feature. In this case you will see a link called "Submit Activity" on your Clubs home page. You only need User Access to Submit an Activity. More on this fetaure can be found here Submit Activity If when you add the Activity you tick the 'Tell People' box then an email will be immediately sent to all the club members who have been set to receive it (unless they have opted out). Please take care using this to reduce other peoples email burden. If an Activity is not for a few weeks, so there is time for it to appear in your clubs Bulletin or Newsletter, then it's probably best not to select this option. The web page that you get after adding an Activity contains a three character Activity AccessCode. You will need this as well as the Organiser AccessCode to make any changes to this Activity. This prevents other club members who have the Organiser AccessCode from altering your Activity. Anyone who has the Master AccessCode or Master Logon Access can change any Activity. When you have added your Activity, you will get a confirmation email (unless you didn't supply an email address). This also contains the Activity AccessCode. Hope you enjoy your event whatever it might be. |
