Standing in the centre of Leicester is the Secular Hall at 75 Humberstone Gate, which was built to house Leicester Secular Society in 1881.
Rooms are available for hire at very reasonable cost.
We have a programme of meetings most of which are on Sunday evenings at 6-30pm to which all (including non-members) are welcome. More details can be found on our website.
Leicester Secular Society welcomes as members anyone in Leicestershire (or beyond) who:
* believes in practical humanity (the need for us to help each other);
* advocates free speech and the need to keep religion and the state apart;
* enjoys rational argument based on reality and the company of like minded people;
* supports an open society based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
