THE NORTH STAFFS IVC is a social group and activity group that began in 1946 (IVC stands for "Inter-Varsity Club"). It is NOT a singles group OR a dating agency. The club has both Single and Married members, and those in relationships. Today people from many walks of life join the IVC to also enjoy a varied and exciting social life, throughout the UK.

CURRENTLY the club has 137 members, however we're always looking for new members, of all ages, whether singles or couples, to join us in having a great time. You can make new friends, and have the chance to do new activities you have never experienced before. We have no limits on what we may do, and are always open to new idea's. The club has a committee whose job is to help with the smooth running of the club. This changes every October when we hold our AGM.
INTERESTED IN JOINING US? Then call, or email the Membership Secretary (details in People Section below) for more information. Prior to joining you are asked to attend six events - this enables you to meet other members and see what we have to offer before you decide whether the IVC is for you.
A bulletin is also published each month giving details of events.

Members can use the 'Submit Activity' link on this site to provide all necessary information of location, date, time, web site links etc., This will then be sent by email to the Events Co-ordinator(s) for approval. Once approved the event will automatically appear on this site. However please note that it is the members responsibility to ensure that the Events Co-Ordinator is advised about your event to ensure it is added to the Bulletin, and included in the Events folder at pub nights. (Please note that events which ONLY appear on Activity Exchange will NOT qualify for membership discount at end of the year. This only applies when events are open to 'everyone' in the club as some members do not have access to a PC.)
IMPORTANT NOTE: As not all members have access to a PC, if there is an event that you think a fellow member may be interested in, we'd appreciate it therefore if you could communicate the event details to them.
