Activity Exchange can produce Bulletin Labels. Q. What are Bulletin Labels? A. Many Clubs produce a Monthly Bulletin or Newsletter to send to their Members. Bulletin Labels are sheets of Name and Address Labels to use for that purpose. Q. How do I produce Bulletin Labels? A. Simply go to your Clubs page on Activity Exchange and on the right hand side click the link "Bulletin Labels". Logon if you need to. You can then choose some options and choose what format you want for your labels. Q. What formats are available? A. You can choose XML or CSV but the most popular format is PDF. There are three PDF options available, all to print on standard label types. These PDF labels are ready to print and you get them in seconds. Q. How does Activity Exchange know Members Addresses? A. To use this feature you must enable the Address field option for Person records. To do this click on "Edit Club" and then the "Choose Person Items" button. More about adding fields to your Clubs Person records here Extra Person Fields. Once you've done that you do need to add addresses for all your members. We can do this as a Bulk Upload to save you the effort. Please let us know if you would like this. Q. Can these labels be sent automatically? A. Yes they can. You can arrange for the labels to be sent to your printers automatically on a scheduled basis so that as well as printing your Bulletin they can also print your Labels. At present this is done on a case-by-case basis. Please let us know if you would like this. Q. How do the printers know how many Bulletins to print? A. They could simply count the Labels (so many full sheets plus how many are on the last sheet). This doesn't allow for spares. Activity Exchange can, in the email it sends to the Printers, include a count of how many Bulletins your club needs. Please contact Activity Exchange if you would like this. Q. Can we get changes made so the Bulletin Labels suit my Club? A. If there is anything about the Bulletin Labels that is not how you would like them for your Club, please contact Activity Exchange and we will see what can be done about it. We are here to help. |
