As well as the Standard Permissions you can also have Extended Permissions. These allow for a finer level of control over who can do what. Q. What are the Standard Permissions? A. There are three (four if you count Public). They are User or Private, Organiser and Master. These allow Access as follows Public - content which anyone can see such as your club Home Page User/Private - Read only Access for your Members Organiser - Can add Activities and Photo Albums and change only what you have added Master - Can alter anything and also access to Person records Q. What are the Extended Permissions? A. There are five in total. Two are extended Organiser permissions and three are extended Master permissions. By extended we mean that they are finer levels of permission, sub-levels if you like. Q. What are the Extended Organiser Permissions? A. These are "Activity Organiser" that gives you Organiser permissions for Activities only and "Album Creator" that gives you Organiser permissions for Photo Albums only. Q. What are the Extended Master Permissions? A. There are three of these. "Activity Master" gives you Master permission over Activities only. "Album Master" gives you Master permissions over Photo Albums only. "Person Master" gives you Master access to Person records only. Q. How do I enable these Extended Permissions? A. Someone in your Club who has Master access needs to go to "Edit Club" off your Clubs Home Page, then click on the Options button. You will see a tick box then for "Extended Permissions". Q. How do I set a Person to get these Permissions? A. Simply go to that persons Person record and set the required permission in their "Individual Logon Settings". Q. Can I use an AccessCode to get Extended Permissions? A. No. AccessCodes can only be used for the Standard Permissions. |
