Activity Exchange has a built in Membership System which any Club can use to record details about its Members and to process applications to join and Renewals.
Every Club is different and catering to the various needs of each Club is difficult. The way the Activity Exchange has tackled this is to provide a rich set of options and configurations that can be set up to suit the way that your club works. Because each club is different you will probably need some help and advice to set things up to do just what you want. By all means set things up yourself but at the same time please don't hesitate to seek advice and assistance which will be willingy provided (and is of course at no charge). If your Club has a need that Activity Exchange cannot cater for then we can advise on possible work-arounds or else see about improving Activity Exchange for you. The model used is that of allowing new potential members to first become Prospective Members for a period and then apply for Full Membership. Not all Clubs work like this and if this is not something that your club does than you can simply omit the Prospective Membership options. Extra Person Fields There are many extra Person fields that you can turn on and allow for your Club. Find out more here Extra Person Fields. Person Values For each Club there are a set of values that you can define for your Membership System. This includes such things as Classes of Membership and Membership Fees. Find out more here Person Values. Person Backups You need to know that your Person Data is safe and that you can get to it in the event of a catastrophic failure of Activity Exchange. To achieve both of these aims Activity Exchange provides automated backups of your Person Data which by default are sent to your Club Weekly. Find out more here Person Backup Emails.
