Activity Exchange has Person Profiles. Q. What is a Person Profile? A. A Person Profile allows a Person to see, and in some cases change, the data that your Club holds on them. Q. Where can a Person find their Profile? A. Go to your Club Page and click on the link "Person Profile". Alternatively just click on this link Person Profile Q. Do I need to Logon? A. You must Logon with your email address and your password. This is so that Activity Exchange knows who you are. An AccessCode is not good enough because that only tells Activity Exchange which Club you belong to (and what Access you are allowed). Q. What do I do if I don't know my Password? A. It is very easy to get your password. Just click on the link "Get Your Password" which is available anywhere that you are prompted to Logon or click on this link Get Your Password. Just follow the instructions to verify your email address and get your initial password (which you can change). Q. What if I haven't got an email address? A. In this case you cannot access your profile. Q. What information can I see or change? A. There are three main things that you can see or change. Your Password, your Email Preferences and your Personal Information. Q. How can I change my Password? A. Simply go to the Password option. Enter your old password, and your new password twice. You are asked for your new password twice to make sure that you type what you think you are typing. A measure is given of your password strenth and you are advised to make sure all these indicators are green which means that your password will be long enough, complex enough and strong enough. Q. What Email Preferences can I change? A. You can choose which emails you get and also opt in or our of various Email Groups that the club has. In this way you can control your own email burden. Q. What Personal Information can I see or change? A. You can see all the Personal Information that the club holds on Activity Exchange for you. You may also be able to see some other data to do with your membership such as the date you joined. Exactly what you can see depends on what data items your Club has chosen to use. Many of the items you can change yourself, such as your email address. This reduces the effort needed to run the club. Q. Can I change the visibility of any of my data? A. Yes you can. Some items of your data, such as your name or phone numbers can be set by the club to one of three levels of visibility being Public, Private and Hidden. You can change the visibility of some items to Private or Hidden. You cannot make any of your data items Public but you can, if the club has set any of them to Public, change them to other than Public. Clubs only set data iems to Public for Club Officials. Q. What doe these Visibility Levels mean? A. Any data which is Public can be seen by anyone on the internet anywhere in the world. This is not normally appropriate for personal data items. Private data items can only be seen by other members of your Club and Hidden items can only be seen by your Clubs Admins. Q. Anything else I can do with my Profile? A. If your Club is so configured you will be able to renew your Membership online by clicking the Renew button. This only shows if your club is set up to use it and if your Renewal is due.
